Meet Maverick

Meet Maverick, aka Gregory Adams II, a rising star in TheGifted Arts community whose passion for the performing arts has been a driving force in his life. Joining TheGifted Arts in his junior year of high school, Maverick quickly found his groove and discovered a whole new world of possibilities.

With a focus on music and acting, Maverick has honed his skills in singing, violin playing, and theatrical performance. From Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" to the electrifying "Footloose" and even TGA's original production, "The Rise," Maverick has left his mark on the stage at South Garner High School.

Throughout his time with TheGifted Arts, Maverick's confidence and skill level have soared, thanks to the supportive community and diverse opportunities for growth. Now, as he prepares to embark on his next adventure in the U.S. Air Force, Maverick reflects on his journey with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead.

In his solo performance, "A Song for You," Maverick takes us on a heartfelt journey through the highs and lows of his past, using music to reflect on the lessons learned and the growth experienced along the way. With each note, Maverick invites us to join him in embracing the memories of the past and using them to pave the way for a brighter future.
